My priorities were instilled in me early on—family and football. Those ideals led me to TGU and a coach whose ironclad principles mirrored my own. With one last college season to play, my goal was singular—get drafted. By realizing my NFL dream, I could save my family, our ranch, and the only home I’d ever known. Two birds, one ball. Blog Tour w/Review - Wrong Bed, Right Girl

Meet the Author:   Rebecca Brooks lives in New York City in an apartment filled with books. She received a PhD in English but decided it was more fun to write books than write about them. She has backpacked alone through India and Brazil, traveled by cargo boat down the Amazon River, climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, explored ice caves in Peru, trekked to the source of the Ganges, and sunbathed in Burma, but she always likes coming home to a cold beer and her hot husband in the Bronx. She likes outdoorsy guys with both muscle and heart and independent women ready to try something new.   Connect:  Site | Facebook | Twitter | Goodreads   About the Book:   Falling head-first into the wrong woman’s bed was not how Reed Bishop’s night was supposed to go. Now a gorgeous, half-naked ballet dancer was threatening his manhood…with a book. He can’t blame her.   It wasn’t how it seemed—he was just doing his job, tr...

This is book #2, in the Accidental Love series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader understanding and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this series in order. Talia has just won her freedom.  Another dancer in her troupe has left from an emergency, she gets a small apartment and principal position.  Then she abruptly meets him. Reed is just doing his job.  If he does not do his due diligence, people die.  He wants to solve this case without losing innocent lives.  Then he meets her.   The attraction for both of them is immediate.  The chemistry is spot on and the heat just builds.  I loved that we learned about both of them as individuals, and that they brought out more in each other.  Had great humor, and yet was still serious and sweet at times.  I give this a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review by Netgalley and its publisher. ...

Todd is in a place where he feels like he is both in a rut, and ready for something new.  He needs to decide if he is going to keep his current affair a secret.  Will he be able to meet his new guy halfway to a new future? Victor is all in if Todd even gives him a hint.  They have been secretly hooking up for a while now.  Then something happens that puts how they feel to the test.  Secrets have a way of getting out...... This was such a fun read.  The characters had such heat!  I loved the banter and angst between them.  I hope to see them again in future stories.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review only.

Sexy

This book is #9 in the Game On In Seattle series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and understanding, I recommend reading this series in order. Matt has so much on his plate right now.  He is trying to get into the playoffs with his team, he has an ex trying to con him for money, he has no nanny for his boys, and the boys themselves are a handful.  All he needs is to be attracted to the woman who is wrong for him.   Violet has a past full of secrets.  She is not real good around kids.  Matt puts her body on fire, so she wants a chance at a non-relationship with him.  If he can stop fighting and just give in..... This story was a good read.  It has characters we love making cameo appearances too.  While it did feel like it was a bit rushed to me, I loved that the characters had excellent banter.  The overall pace was good, and there is such sexy humor you cannot help but...

Isaiah & Victor have a flash of sexy in their past that may come back to bite them.  Isaiah is offering to help Victor stay here in America.  To go home for him would be death.  Isaiah struggles with this, since he is very attracted to Victor and has a hard time staying hands off. Victor is starting to have real feelings for Isaiah.  He finds the many parts of his personality very attractive and knows he is falling for him.  How do you find love when the person you care for has no interest in falling? This book was really sexy.  I loved the interaction with the characters.  The pages sizzle with electricity from the main characters chemistry.  I love that the backstories of both are varied, diverse, and very real and easy to understand.  Really good read.  I give this book a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This early copy was given in exchange for an honest review by Netgalley and its publisher.

Matched set

This is a combo of books 6 & 7 in the Bend Or Break series .  These can be read as standalone novels.  For reader enjoyment and understanding of the series, I recommend reading them in order. These books are a good choice as a set since they both have characters who must overcome being opposites and find common ground. I think it is better to review each book separately so here are both of the reviews for these books.  (These have been previously posted, but not together.) Love Me Like a Rock by Amy Jo Cousins My rating: 4 of 5 stars This is book #6, in the Bend Or Break series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader understanding and enjoyment of the series, I recommend reading these in order. Austin has lived in the shadow of wanting his best friend. Finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, Sean is there in all his naked glory. Can Austin move on and find real love? Sean has been trying to chase after Austin for the better part...

Three strikes

This is the 7th book in the Bend Or Break series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and understanding of the series, I recommend reading these in order. Vincent meets Bryan and his whole view of the world changes.  Bryan is everything he is not.  Opposites really do attract.  Can they make the most of the future? Bryan has never had to hide who he is or what he does.  Why should he have to do that with Vincent?  He finds himself drooling over the man, but exasperated a moment later. This story has so much to it.  I was laughing one minute, crying the next.  I really felt it all.  Cannot wait until the next installment of the series!  I give this book a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This copy was given in exchange for an honest review only.
