This is book #2 in the Fighting For Her series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader understanding and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading these in order. Liam is Chelsea's best friend.  They met when she moved in next door at least a decade ago.  He is attracted to her and is trying desperately to be her friend only.  She needs him and he needs her. Chelsea comes home to San Diego to be part of a project that could make or break her career.  At the same time, she is anxious to see those she has missed.  Including the love of her life and best friend, Liam.
