This is book #7 in the Aces Hockey series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment, and understanding of the series, I recommend reading in order. Jodie and Nick know one another through mutual friends.  When their friends think they should move in together, it becomes a series of awkward conversations.  Single-mom Jodie cannot afford to get involved with someone too quickly.  Can she be near him and not lose her heart? Nick is everything she wants and is hard to stay away from.  Little does he know while he pines for the elusive Jodie, she also pines for him.  When they learn to see eye to eye, maybe this could be love after all. Chase is definitely off this season.  Then it hits a bright spot when he strikes up a social media conversation with a celebrity.  His life now appeared to be on an upswing. Jordyn is a busy person in her own right.  Also a hockey fan, she loves the Aces since she grew up near them.  Talking to Chase is a bright spot in her life too. This is book # 5 in the Aces Hockey series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader understanding, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this great series in order. Kendra meet Max at a wedding.  The chemistry if off the charts right from the get go.  The timing however, seems off.  She is beginning to feel like it was just a one off. Max wants more from Kendra, but his issues from losing his wife are still there.  He is hoping to heal, and Kendra is a big part of that.  Her touch soothes him. This is the 4th book in the Aces Hockey series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  Due to the content, I recommend reading this series in order. Katelyn & Tanner have history.  When they meet again at a friends home to plan their wedding, the chemistry ignites.  Can they get past what went wrong last time? Tanner knows he does not want the history to repeat with  Katelyn.  He also knows they cannot ignore the sparks flying between them at every turn.  He has to find a solution or the past will become the present. This is the 3rd book in the Aces Hockey series .  It can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and understanding of this amazing series, I recommend reading these in order. Sidney & Jared met, when she literally walks into his bar and sits down.  They hit it off and the mutual attraction is hot, electric, & instant!  Until she finds out he may be a client. Jared is pleased she is willing to help his restaurant and bar be better then it is today.  He also is happy to have a reason to see the sexy woman regularly.  She intrigues him in a genuine, and different way, then the women he is used to. This is book 1.5 in the Aces Hockey series .   This book can easily be read as a standalone.  It can also be read as part of the series, and it is very nice to connect it all up.  Everything just makes more sense when you read a series and enjoy it in order.
