Kitty's Book Spot!

Rachel has hated her neighbor since she was a young girl.  He was always everywhere she looked.  He was always someone to hate.  He was always her strongest friend and confidante.  She hated it. Ethan had hated Rachel since he was small.  Why would seeing her after several years change how he feels?  Maybe he felt this way for a while.  Maybe they are more than enemies.  Maybe it is time to find out. This story was a bit of a surprise.  I thought the characters and their banter was great.  I was not a big fan of the back and forth.  For those wondering what that meant, I mean I dislike it when there are flashbacks in a book.  I find it disruptive.  This was a bit hard to follow, but the ending is more than worth the wait.  I give this a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This copy was given in exchange for an honest review only.

This is a great story about a second chance for Charlotte and Grayson. They met in college and had their life ahead of them. She to be a lawyer, he to be in professional football. When they come across one another later - fireworks!  Grayson had always intended to be with Charlotte. He lost her and did not know where she was. With seven years wasted, he does not want to miss another minute. Convincing her to give him another shot? Priceless.  This book was full of so many precious moments. I loved the banter, sexy times, heat level, pace, etc. I was so pleased I picked this one up. This author is amazing.  The narration in the audio book was very soothing and the voice had just the right inflections and made me actually feel the entire scene. Narrators Erin Mallon, Joseph Discher were a good addition and I enjoyed reading and listening to this book.

The voices provided by Erin Mallon & Zachary Webber were just really good to listen to.  I think it was a great combination, and the inflections and tones added to the story.  I really hope I get to hear them in another book.  This story with these voices was just magic. This is book #1.5 in the Turbulence series .  This book is not intended to be on it's own.  It is a continuation of the 1st book in the series.  I recommend reading in order. Jake & Gillian's story continues here with a sweet and fun ending!  The author generously gives us this epilogue edition FREE on several platforms.  (See below)  I found that it made me feel better to revisit them and see how they ended up.  I also like they are still the same, just better together.  I give this a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP! Gillian and Jake meet with surprising circumstances.  Jake is pretty mad at her right off the bat.  Is this something they can fix? Jake is still wanting a physical relationship.... but Gillian has already been there with a player.  She does not need another one in her new life.  Maybe there could be a compromise they both can agree to? Very sexy and funny read.  I enjoyed the banter.  These characters are both strong and smart.  It makes for a fantastic book.  This author never disappoints.  I give this story a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This copy was given in exchange for an honest review.

This is book # 1.5 for the Sincerely Carter series.   This book is not a standalone. You should read these in order as the timeline in this 2nd book picks up where the 1st book left off. Arizona and Carter have much to talk about and work out.  If it actually can be worked out, these two want this.  Carter does not want to let go of his best friend and lover.  Arizona still has some issues with a future that includes Carter. Such a great ending and I refuse to spoil the best ending I have read all year!  I think you should read this story, (after the first book, of course!)  It is worth it and if you love these characters like I do, you will appreciate the effort the author went to for us in this short but sweet novella.  I give this a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
