Jacket Copy: Meet Pepper , swim team captain, chronic overachiever, and all-around perfectionist. Her family may be falling apart, but their massive fast-food chain is booming — mainly thanks to Pepper, who is barely managing to juggle real life while secretly running Big League Burger’s massive Twitter account.    Enter Jack , class clown and constant thorn in Pepper’s side. When he isn’t trying to duck out of his obscenely popular twin’s shadow, he’s busy working in his family’s deli. His relationship with the business that holds his future might be love/hate, but when Big League Burger steals his grandma’s iconic grilled cheese recipe, he’ll do whatever it takes to take them down, one tweet at a time.    All’s fair in love and cheese — that is, until Pepper and Jack’s spat turns into a viral Twitte...

Pepper is trying not to be crushed by all the demands in her life.  As swim team captain, a completely straight A student, and her parents demands of her input into their company.  She is just a high school student who should have just been a girl, meeting a boy, hoping he likes her.  If only. Jack is a total pretender.  He pretends to be ok with the whole school assuming he is his brother.  He pretends not to know all the goings on through an app he runs.  He pretends to be a normal teenager, like all the others.  What he really is well, is a boy.  Just a boy, hoping to meet a girl who will like him for just being himself, and not his popular brother. The characters have the sparks right from the start!  Already like oil and water, there are many secrets to high school, and even more between the main MC's.  That is before all the public hype too.  Is it love, is it war?  Is it just high school?  I laughed...

Gabe has changed schools for the benefit of getting ready for the Olympics.  With finishing his last year of college, he knows it is time to get ready to move on and make his life happen.  Being attracted to the team captain was not in his plan. Derek wants his last year of college to be full of great memories.  He plans to do his best, to be the best, and a new teammate that he does not get a long with was not in his plan.  Gabe changes things for Derek.  Almost right away he is not the same. Being explosive right from the start, these two men are in each others pockets almost right away.  No wanting to get along, and not wanting to be attracted to one another, they cannot find chemistry that is nearly electrocuting themselves.  With decisions to make, and places to be they finally give in to their feelings and must decide how to tackle the future if they are to be together.  I enjoyed this story, and I give this a 4/5 Kitty's Paws ...

This is book #4, in The Elite series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader understanding and enjoyment, I always recommend reading series books in order. Cassandra get told by her boss he is doing a favor for a friend, and she is recruited as the agent who will handle his client.  When she meets Brett, she realizes there is an attraction there.  Because of her past, she is wary about getting involved with another athlete. Brett cannot believe the situation he has put himself in.  He knows he can do better.  Everyone is treating him like a child.  Except Cassandra, she sends enough heat his way to make an oven.  Can they build a future in the middle of cleaning up a mess? The characters are just incredible to read.  The sizzle and heat between them just leaps off the page.  This series just gets better.  I give this story a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for a...

Aileen AKA Tinker Bell or Birdie as the boys like to call her, goes to Japan to interpret for someone making a movie.  Turns out it is four guys around her age.  They welcome her into the fold and treat her like family. Theo and Matt are only half the band, but they are the half that are falling for their interpreter.  There is so much going on in such a short time.  Japan is very lovely and offers lots to see, but the schedule is quite hectic. This story has so many wonderful adventures!  I was really impressed with the character development.  The guys are fun to read about.  I cannot wait to read the next installment in the UK Crush series.  I give this book a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review.
