Aubrey runs a really successful bakery that is only threatened by the hottest specimen she has met in a long time.  She finds out later he wrote the worst review about her place.  Then has the nerve to claim he can still help her. Landon is honestly meaning well.  He does not want to put his reputation on the line by retracting the review that caused all the devastation.  Yet somehow in between this all is electricity that crackles and sparks that fly for the two of them anytime they are in the same room together. This is book #2, in the Starving For Southern series.   This story can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this great series in order. Lexi is making her way as a small business owner in her small town.  She is gaining notoriety for the pies, even though she has always been known for them locally.  She has been in love with Bryan all her life, but he does not seem to know she exists anymore.  He has not been home in a decade. Bryan is trying to outrun a past filled with pain and heartache.  The best way to do that is to stay away.  Football is the one thing he does right, and he does well.  It has made him well known and feel as if he is deserving of Lexi.  The questions is if he does something about it how will she respond? This is the 2nd book in the Wild Wedding series .  This book can be read as standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and understanding of the series, I recommend reading in order. Cassandra is busy trying to build a new life for herself.  She is starting a new business, and really does not have time to date.  Going to her brother's wedding gives her the chance to have a fling with a sexy someone. Willow & Zane are the best of friends.  He just has no idea how she feels about him.  They have some seriously hot history.  Now he needs her to help him out. Zane tricks Willow into being a part of a charade.  Be fake-engaged to me?  Sure, like it is hard to pretend to be crazy about a guy she is head over heels for.   This is such an achingly sweet story with a real sexy twist.  I absolutely loved it!  I feel like this is the author's best work so far.  I am excited to read more from the new  Sugar Lake series.   I give this book a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This early copy was given in exchange for an honest review, by Netgalley and its publisher.

This is the 3rd book in the Out Of Uniform series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader understanding, to avoid spoilers, and really enjoy the series, I recommend reading in order. Maddox & Ben have been best friends since their BUD(S) training.  They work together, live together, and so far it works for them.  Or does it? Ben is starting to see that Maddox wanting a future with someone else is not going to work.  He never wanted forever before, but he cannot sit idly by and watch his best friend find happiness with someone else.  It's time to come clean. Leah meets Sam under some frustrating circumstances.  She believes he could never be interested in her, since she feels she is overweight and not attractive to him.  How can she win a man when she doesn't like herself? Sam is attracted to  Leah right away.  He is dead set against relationships, due to dating a real loser in the past.  After learning how he has hurt  Leah, however, he shows what a gentleman he can be. Seriously fun and heartwarming story.  I love how the author portrays each avenue of their personalities.  The characters just jump off the page.  The chemistry is seriously HOT!  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Sonny finally meets someone online that makes him pause.  Luke is a business owner with a great sense of humor.  Will it still be good with him once he finds out what Sonny does or a living? Luke is all in until Sonny's job comes between them.  He is not sure if he can trust him again.  He wants to believe what he says is the truth.  If only he hadn't been lied to before..... This story is quite fun and filled with a lot of humor.  I found it a little bit predictable.  The characters mesh well, and the pace is good.  I give this story a 2/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Nick and Joelle grow up together living right next door.  Close enough, that everyone in their hometown thinks they will end up together.  While that is certainly becoming a possibility, why is it assumed? Joelle AKA Jo is only certain of one thing.  Her love for Nick.  It changes her, and almost kills her too.  Together, they make an amazing couple.  Too bad they have to find a way to live apart. Certainly an interesting story with surprise after surprise inside!  The characters are honest, and truly devoted with a love that only builds over a lifetime.  I found this to be epic, perhaps even be a movie someday.  I would pay to see that.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
