Stephanie AKA "Steph" meets Jared while she is working.  They meet again later, and the attraction spark starts to flame.  If she can just keep her past behind her, maybe she can think of having a future. Jared AKA "Hot Rod" is trying to recapture his life after a bitter divorce.  Seeing Steph at every turn has him in knots.  Will the past and the pain ruin what has begun for them? This series just continues to please the senses.  It has all kinds of hot, with both men and women who are strong - yet vulnerable.  This story fits in well with the characters heating up every time they are in the room together.  Lots of secrets, surprises, and plenty of humor mixed in, this is a great read.  I give this a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***...

Matt has so much on his plate right now.  He is trying to get into the playoffs with his team, he has an ex trying to con him for money, he has no nanny for his boys, and the boys themselves are a handful.  All he needs is to be attracted to the woman who is wrong for him.   Violet has a past full of secrets.  She is not real good around kids.  Matt puts her body on fire, so she wants a chance at a non-relationship with him.  If he can stop fighting and just give in..... This story was a good read.  It has characters we love making cameo appearances too.  While it did feel like it was a bit rushed to me, I loved that the characters had excellent banter.  The overall pace was good, and there is such sexy humor you cannot help but...

This is book #7, in the Game On In Seattle series.  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  I recommend reading series in order for reader enjoyment and understanding. This book was surprising.  More than I expected was inside.  I also felt like the characters were a bit flat at first, but it may have been just me.  As the story got on, I found myself rooting for the main couple.   Hunter & Kate hate each other nearly from the beginning.  We all know that hate is near a fine line.  The attraction is there too.  Kate is kind of blinded by a one track mind.  Hunter seems equally blind for a bit as well.  This series is always so much fun.  I give this book a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This early copy was given in exchange for an honest review.
