This is the 6th book in the 7 Brides For 7 Blackthornes series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  Be aware this series is meant to be read in order and can be enjoyed by doing so.  Keep in mind there may be spoilers, should you read this prior to previous books. Logan comes back to the fold, in order to give a vacation to an employee.  The family owns many ventures and he is being pushed to choose where he might be involved with just one.  What if he wants to run them all? Piper has known Logan for a long time.  They grew up together and even had been friends some time back.  As they get to know each other again - they learn they have more in common than they first thought.  Also, that it is good to have an opposite to attract. This story just had a steady pace and the heat between the characters built.  I truly think this is a  terrific series , and this story was a great addition to it.  The characters seem meant for one another from the start, and as the

This is book #2, from the series Hat Trick .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  To avoid spoilers, and to better understand the series I recommend reading this series in order intended by the authors.  You can catch the review for  Off The Ice , the first book in  this series , by clicking here:  OFF THE ICE REVIEW. Emmitt has the opportunity to move up to the NHL, when a trade gives him the ultimate chance.  Not having as much family support as he would have liked - he still gives it his all.  Then he finds out there is a catch.   Ryu is already a successful goalie who gives his team everything he has.  Then the challenge is given to work harder or lose your place.  This is normal for the NHL, but what he does not expect is to be attracted to his nemesis.  If only he could make the feelings go away..... Such an exciting and well paced story.  I love the banter, the humor, and so much more.  The heat starts out sizzling and grows till it is almost a complete

This is book #2, in the Getting Lucky series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader understanding, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this series in order. Rogan is close to his family.  He is not happy when they torture him about a lost love who is back in town.  He has a business to run, and there is no time to waste on the past.  Then their paths cross....... Harper has no problem remembering how good it was.  Nor does she forget how painful it ended.  Yet the burning begins when their eyes meet.  She wants to fight it, but he is everywhere she is and deep down, she really just wants to hold on. This started out kind of slow where I almost put the book down.  Now, I do not want to mislead - it was not slow in action - but in the relative character connection.  I held on since this author is a favorite, and I was not disappointed.  Every page became a burst of feels and then I could not wait to get to the end to make sure they got their HEA

This is book #5, in The Knight Brothers series.   This book should be read in order, though it could be on its own.  It makes more sense, and to avoid spoilers, you should read this sexy series in order. Harper has lived a lonely existence.  She is now looking to make up for it and move on - but her thoughts and cravings always lead her back to Matt.  She has tried but, all she wants is him. Matt hears Harper's car, and knows she will be needing him soon.  He plans a way to be with her while out of town and finally tell her how he feels.  It's time she knows she is his everything. This short and sexy story has a HOT streak that nearly singes the book.  These two finally get their story, and it is worth every word.  I enjoyed it and am glad I made this author an automatic click to read.  I give this a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review.
