Brooklynaire by Sarina Bowen Brooklyn Bruisers #4 Release Date: February 12, 2018   Add To Your TBR: Goodreads         Purchase Links:   Amazon - B&N  - iBooks - Kobo - Paperback     Excerpt:   I grab a towel off a waiting stack of them and toss it onto the edge. “You can sit and put your feet in.”   She’s wearing a short little knit dress that’s been making me crazy all evening, so it would be easy enough for her to strip off those stockings, sit on the towel, and drop both feet in.   And that’s what she does. She eases one stocking down over a smooth knee and tugs it off.   I don’t want to stand there staring like a middle-school boy. Okay, I do want to. But I don’t want to make her uncomfortable. So I go over to the sound system instead, and I set my phone on the speaker and cue up a really old playlist. One she’ll recognize.  ...

This is book #4, in the Brooklyn Bruisers series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  To avoid spoilers, and to fully understand this amazing series, I recommend reading in order. Rebecca AKA "Becca" has family obligations that come before her own needs.  All. The. Time.  When is it time for her?  She has an amazing job, great friends and co-workers, and she is just too busy to enjoy. Nate is a busy man.  He owns many successful businesses, including a hockey team.  He has worked with Becca for many years.  Now he feels an attraction he is ashamed to act on.  What would she think?  This is a long awaited story.  I was so excited to read this book, and could not contain my excitement!  It was everything I wanted and more.  I got more humor,  heat, banter, sexy times, hot hockey players - there is something for everyone!  I just really like these characters and was so glad they were meant to be....

This is book # 2, in the  Man Hands series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel,.  For reader enjoyment, and understanding of the series, I recommend reading this fun series in order! Ash is thoroughly disgusted for being attracted to the man who, is basically her nemesis at work.  Rivals competing for each sale dollar, but who cannot resist the physical attraction that seems to consume then whenever they are in the same room together.  If only she could keep her hands, and her lips off of him! Braht and his scheming ways only seem to entice Ash closer - while at the same time give her a reason to pull away from him.  He really does want her in his arms and in his bed.  How to keep a woman who is so determined to stay away? This was such a fun read.  Truly inspiring, by way of the funny schemes the characters come up with to one-up each other, as well as the banter.  There is plenty of hat in this one too, folks.  ...

This is the 2nd book in The Ivy Years series .  This book can be read as a standalone.  With all that this series has to offer, I would recommend reading this series in order.  This way you avoid spoilers, and get more out of the series itself. Scarlet has had all she can take and then some.  The past year has pushed her in places she never thought she would go.  Now back at school, she just wants to get her education. Bridger understands sacrifice all to well.  He finds himself while learning to love the amazing woman Scarlet has become.  Only secrets from their pasts coming like a whirlwind towards them can keep them apart.   This story happens at such a ferociously fast pace.  It is a sweet and yet sexy story, where two very lonely people come together and find that love can reach you in a very dark place.  I love the character development we get to read while it happens.  I also think the banter is just ama...

Amazon:  http://geni.us/MCAmazo n      SUMMARY:   Nothing ventured, nothing banged...   Ash   I still don't know how it happened. One minute I was arguing with my arrogant competitor--our usual trash-talk over who deserves the larger commission. But somehow I went from throwing down to kneeling down...    It can never happen again. I don't even like Braht. He's too slick. He's a manipulating mansplaining party boy in preppy clothes.   So why can't I get him out of my head?    Braht   There are two things I know without question.   One: Ash and I are destined for each other.   Two: never trust a man with a unibrow.   Ash is my missing my piece. She's the sweet cream to my gourmet espresso. And nothing gets me going faster than her contempt for me. They don't call her the Ashkicker for nothing.    Eventually I'll win her over...if my past doesn't r...

This is the 4th book in the True North series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  However, to avoid spoilers and have complete understanding of this amazing series, I recommend reading these in order. Zara & Dave make a memory and then plan to never see one another again.  This is of course, before the surprises that seem to keep coming.  Good thing Zara has her family for support. Dave misses Vermont and cannot wait to get back.  He had hoped to find Zara if he ever went there again.  Fate intervenes, and the rest as they say is history. I have to warn you - I cried almost the entire book.  Please get your tissues ready.  Stunningly beautiful, this story has so much power to move you and your emotions.  Each encounter of these characters seem so real to me.  Very touching, and thought provoking, I was excited to see it be the next part of the  True North series .  I give this story a 5/5...
