Kitty's Book Spot!

This is book #3, in the Boston Terriers Hockey series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this fun series in order intended. Maddie is finally done with high school and on to the rest of her life.  A life she has been waiting and hoping for.  Along with Shaw giving her a chance at a future, anyway.  Only he has no idea. Shaw has been feeling something new for Maddie for a while.  Not really sure how to approach it, he wants to feel her out without her overprotective brother in the way.  Little does he know how poetic those thoughts are going to be. Clancy is known as "The Wilde Man."  He is not really a player, though most assume he is.  With his connection to the frat, and sports, it is assumed.  He is a good person at heart, however, and cannot get his mind of the one chance he had with Tenley. I loved the banter and the heat that blasted right into the beginning of the book.  Right from the get go you know about the smoke that leads to the fire between these two.  It felt stilted at times, and I was a little frustrated about the stiff pieces of conversation now and again.  Yet, the story overall was so good - so compelling - I could not wait to see what happened next.  What happened?  I read the book!  I am excited to see what comes next from this  new series ....

This is book #2, in the Billionaire Bachelors series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  to avoid spoilers and to have better understanding of this series, I recommend reading this in order. Cal and Jules have a secret and sexy history.  When they come face to face again it shocks them both.  It also ignites the passion they left behind. Jules wants to help Cal.  He is coming to mean a lot to her.  Can she risk her heart and use her head at the same time?  It could be the future will be worth it. This is book # 4 in the Off-Campus series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  The characters and situations will make more sense to the reader, however, if you read them in order.  Plus, it is a seriously phenomenal series! Sabrina has a hot past with Tucker.  Even if it is a short one.  One that he does not want to let go.  If Sabrina could just work him into her schedule... Tucker has always been his own man.  Even when a close friend says stay away from Sabrina, he chooses for himself.  He knows her better than they do.  Now, if he can just convince her to make a future with him. This is book # 3 in The O'Malleys series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and understanding, I recommend reading the series in order.   Olivia and Cillian are flying sparks all over the room when they are both in it.  She just does not want to have anything to do with him or his family.  Been there, done that. Cillian cannot escape the feeling he has for her.  The attraction both physical and other are immediate.  He thinks he can talk her into more, little does he know.... This is the 7th book in the Shopping for a Billionaire series .   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and understanding, however, I recommend reading the series in the order intended. Amanda and Andrew have met a couple years ago.  He keeps kissing her in closets, private, or hidden where she thinks he may not approve of her.  Their attraction is like a live wire and anyone who sees them in the same room has no doubt. This is book # 4 in the Bowen Boys series .   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  The reader will get more understanding and enjoyment if this series is read in order.  There are many spoilers in the book, if this story is read first. Jack and Elle meet when her sister marries his closes friend.  After that, they just annoy the hell out of each other because it is fun.  In denial of all the sparks flying all around them, the onlookers are wondering who will get burned. When she is in danger, Jack runs to help her.  He berates himself for not being able to stay away, but he cannot stop himself.  Elle is just as guilty.  She relies on Jack without realizing that is what she is suddenly doing.  All the while, things heat up between them, and the kisses take on a life of their own. This is book # 3 in the Sidewinder series .   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  I recommend reading this series in order, however, to fully understand what is going on and enjoy the book more. Kelly and Nick's story continues in this installment of the  Sidewinder series .  This time they do a friend a favor by getting all the guys together (who are still living.)  There is a road trip and lots of crazy times too. This is book 2 in the Riley O'Brien & Co series .   This book certainly can be read as a standalone novel.  I encourage you, like always to read the series in the order intended to obtain full understanding of the story. Nick and Teagan met while he was attending college with her brothers.  Over time, he became her best friend also.  Theirs was a happy, albeit complicated story. Then trouble arose and tragedy struck.  Where to go from here?  Teagan knew she could not tell her family what happened since she did not want to ruin the friendships.  Nick would surely never tell.
