Kitty's Book Spot!

Jemma has an upheaval in the middle of the school year.  Luckily she ends up in the most heavenly small town.  When she meets her neighbor, she decides he must hate helping her.   Wyatt cannot believe how attracted to his daughter's teacher he is.  He knows she should be off limits.  She is not planning to stay, either.  If he could just turn the attraction off enough to be just friends..... This story just grabbed me from the start.  The characters are witty, charming, and seriously attracted to one another!  With this story, I eagerly turned the pages.  Humor, surprises, and even bits of whimsy appeared.  I give this read a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This copy was given in exchange for an honest review only.

Hank & Abby used to date back in high school.  Abby is shocked to see him back in the school they used to go to, and where she works now.  It is bringing back feelings she thought she lost.  Still attracted, and still afraid, she is not sure whether to trust and go all in. Hank has never forgotten Abby.  She is very much the one who got away.  He is hoping this second chance at love will have a different ending.  As far as he can tell, the feelings not only went away, they are back in full force. I thought this was one of the best - most sexy - romance stories I have ever read.  I was more than thrilled to see it be put on the app  Chapters.   Had to come back and review this very hot and very good read.  What a great introduction to the  Back To You series!   I give this a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Kaenon has to come back to a place that only has bad memories.  His family basically disowned him all in one day.  He loves his grandmother, and with her wishes he comes back home to help her say goodbye. Brody has always wished to tell Kaenon how he felt and never got the chance.  When he takes a look at him in person after so many years he can barely contain his reaction.  Can he convince him to give this a try? This is just an amazing read.  Right from the start, I was hooked.  Then I found that this character had such a story.  Very compelling and sincere.  I loved the banter and family.  Really great to the point I hope we see more of the characters.  I give this a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This book is #2, in the Friend Zone series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  To avoid spoilers, and have a better understanding of the series, I recommend reading it in order. Layla has been competing with Dash for many years.  Suddenly he is her instructor for a college course.  Under other circumstances she may have had an alternative but this is forced upon her to graduate. Dash has been attracted to Layla for some time.  Her being upset and angry - he finds it hot.  As her teacher he can't do anything about it.  Not that she would let him.  Only time will tell now. This was kind of a punch to the gut right from the start.  Everything happened so fast for the characters.  The sparks are definitely flying.  The  series  continues with some heat and angst.  I give this a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This early copy was given in exchange for an honest review only.

Law is used to helping his twin Anders, break up with whomever he is dating.  His brother has a lot of issues and Law is just now learning he does too.  Now he is practically drooling over someone who thinks he is his brother. Reed is new to the area and has to work with Law, even though he is starting to get feelings for Anders.  He is getting confused and is not sure how to react since he is attracted to both of them since they are obviously twins. I loved the story and felt the slow burn was very real.  The characters were a good fit and the story touched on subjects that some would never pull off, yet in this story it works well.  I was eagerly turning each page and cannot wait to read this authors next work.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This manual helps with aiding in the teaching of Science, using a new way of helping the kids absorb.  While the STEM system is not new, this book shows with 48 projects just how computer games and education can be combined.  If you have not seen this series, you are in a for a treat. The author's still observe some basics.  They encourage the use of a journal.  Using the popularity of the video game Minecraft, users can gain scientific knowledge.  Making fun  things like glow in the dark items to fireworks.  I loved the lab that was able to be crafted. Nick meets Alex when he comes in to the club where he is working.  He cannot help but feel the good looking guy seems sweet.  Then he finds out he is everything. Alex has found himself living a good life without any happiness.  He has a lot to be grateful for, but not what he has always wanted.  When he meets a man who is following his own dreams, he second guesses where he is and where he is going. Kelly & Mark have been best friends for so long. They can finish each other's sentences. They can tell when a relationship is not working. What Kelly cannot seem to notice is their attraction to one another. Mark has been waiting for the right moment to sweep her off her feet. Kelly is always in another city, with another man, or just plain oblivious. Will Mark ever get his chance to be the man Kelly really needs? This was such a great story. Started off slow, but then got going so well I was not sure how to react.  This story is what most would call a slow burn.  I love the heat, heart, and humor.  These characters are some I would love to see again.  Loved how such a tense subject was handled.  I cannot wait to read more in the Bowler University series!  I give this story a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Coming home at the end of a bad marriage, Abigail and her daughter have to find their way.  Jackson has always been there, but not always friendly.  What could happen now? Jackson has been in love with his best friends girl since before they knew what a relationship meant.  He has suffered through her being someone else's, and now he hopes for a chance to change that. The story is rather cute.  I always love a good hockey book.  This one came across a bit forced.  The pace is good, dialogue original, but the story just does not seem smooth.  I give this book a 2/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Leese meets his new charge under less than perfect circumstances.  He can see why she needs protection.  He just wants her to trust he will keep her safe.  Even when it gets ugly. Catalina has been surviving on her own, and does not feel she needs help.  Those that are after her are beyond reach, so what is the point.  Now, some hot time, that she could use.  There is more to this than just security.   This book was an excellent start to a new series!  I loved the characters.  How strong the female lead is, how sassy.  She knows what she wants.  I am surprised the pages did not melt.  The book is HOT!  This author always gives us her best.  I cannot wait to read the next book in the  Body Armor  series .  I give this story a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This is a book bundle.  Made up of 5 books the author has out now.  I have chosen to review 2 of them, and encourage you to read the works he offers.  They are delightful to read.  They can be read in any particular order. A Love Story  is about Alex, an elementary school teacher who cannot find a job.  He ends up working for Giles mom.  She is concerned since her son is eccentric.  There is a ton of humor, and some food mentioned that just made me really hungry.  Very good book and an easy afternoon read, if you are looking for one.  I give this a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
