Kitty's Book Spot!

This is book #2, in The McGuire Brothers series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader understanding and enjoyment, I recommend reading this series in order. Ronan has been in love with Maddy since they were in school.  Growing up in the same small town, he came to appreciate her quirky ways.  She was busy with someone else, so he had to bide his time until it was right to ask her out. Maddy has had a lot happen to her in the last year alone.  She lost someone she loved.  She knows she must get on with her life, but it is hard to motivate yourself into action.  Ronan changes all of that by just looking at her. This story was so sexy!  I loved the characters connection right from the beginning.  Good installment for the  McGuire Brothers series .  The pace was good.  Seeing characters from the previous story was nice also.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This is book # 3 in the New York's Finest series .   This is a book that can be read as a standalone novel.  To enjoy fully and understand all the inside jokes from the characters involved, I recommend reading in the order intended. Vincent and Jill have been partners for six years.  They know each other well.  They have an excellent record as detectives also.  They are basically best friends. Jill has been in love with Vin for a while, and finds that he will never change so she must move on.  She comes back from assisting her mother in Florida with future plans that rock Vincent's world. This is the 2nd book in the New York's Finest series .   This book can be read as a standalone.  The reading of the books, in order, adds to the enjoyment and understanding of the series. Anthony AKA "Anth" is attracted to Maggie and its mutual.  Since he is so career focused and blinded by the past, he never acts on that attraction.  His family, however, things she is greater than sliced bread. Maggie knows she has the hots for the police captain.  She also knows he hates her since she cannot seem to stop spilling food on him!  She is not looking for a relationship right now anyway.
