This is book #2, in the Chicago Rebels series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this series in order. Isobel has a history with Vadim.  An incredibly complex history, that makes it hard for Isobel to even confide in her sisters about it.  Suddenly she has to work with him again, since he is on their team.  Will the past and future secrets that they share ruin all the progress? Vadim has not realized that he was missing Isobel until he saw her again.  Now he realizes just what he needs.  He just has to come up with a plan.  If the secrets of their pasts come to light - can they still have a future? Such an incredible series!  I love that each and every character is so different.  These are really complex and interesting MC's that take us through it all.  I could not put this book down.  Engaging in many forms and filled with surprises, t...

This is book # 5 in the Scoring Chances series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and understanding of the series, I recommend reading in order. Shane gets his last season on a team he did not even want.  In a place he has to move to - far away from family and friends.  He is unsure if he should even make an effort to make friends.  He will only have this last season. Troy is tired.  He is tired of being thrown players who do not care.  Tired of having an assistant who knows nothing of the sport.  Tired of being alone.  Then Shane arrives, and its all he can do to keep his heart from beating so wild.   This story has so much to it.  These characters are rich, deep, and sometimes dark.  I was really impressed with the author's ability to lay it on the line.  I love such honesty from the characters and feel like this is a book I could read again and again.  Great addi...

Jared meets Lane at a bar, when they both cannot sleep.  Then they end up rivals on opposite teams.  When the attraction becomes heated, they stop fighting it. Lane knows he should avoid  Jared.  He knows he has to show his best as a professional.  What about when your lonely?  What about having someone to keep you going?  He only knows he can't resist. This book was so sweet in many ways.  I realize saying that about a couple of hockey players sounds odd.  These characters really made me feel for them.  Along with the love of the game, there is much heat, heart, and happiness.  I truly enjoyed each page.  I give this story a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This is book # 3, in the Bend Or Break series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  To avoid spoilers, understand characters, and fall in love with the series, I recommend reading these in order. Charles AKA Cash and Stephany AKA Steph met through their mutual friends.  College was a time of fun and sex and laughter.  When they get in the real world, why do relationships not last? Steph has a past full of pain and heartache.  Trust does not come easy for her.  Cash is fun and sexy as hell, but even he has one foot out the door.   This series just grabs me.  I mean like by the throat!  This is the best book so far of the series.  This book has everything.  Strong heat, sexy times, and so much more.  I give this amazing story a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This copy was given in exchange for an honest review.
