Nick & Tessa met in college and along with one other best friend, started up a now successful business together.  Nick has been waiting for his chance with her, patiently, and now is the time.  Tessa is leaving to start her own business.  She has been in love with Nick for a while now, and it is hard to see him everyday and know he cannot be hers.  Will they take a chance? This short story was a quick and sexy read.  I loved how the characters interacted with one another.  It also made me wonder - will we see more of the Damien?  Really simple and good read.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This copy was given in exchange for an honest review by its publishers.

Isaiah & Victor have a flash of sexy in their past that may come back to bite them.  Isaiah is offering to help Victor stay here in America.  To go home for him would be death.  Isaiah struggles with this, since he is very attracted to Victor and has a hard time staying hands off. Victor is starting to have real feelings for Isaiah.  He finds the many parts of his personality very attractive and knows he is falling for him.  How do you find love when the person you care for has no interest in falling? This book was really sexy.  I loved the interaction with the characters.  The pages sizzle with electricity from the main characters chemistry.  I love that the backstories of both are varied, diverse, and very real and easy to understand.  Really good read.  I give this book a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This early copy was given in exchange for an honest review by Netgalley and its publisher.

This is an anthology of Hockey stories, centered around a championship team.  I chose  Deep Check  by  Kimberly Kincaid  for my review.  These books can be read as a standalone novel, but are more fun when read together. Finn and January have a history.  One that goes back to high school.  The last time they saw one another, their friendship was ruined.  Then tragedy struck.  Can they repair the pain and move on? January wants to forgive Finn.  It was not his fault she has been hot for him for years.  She does not want a repeat of last time.  Maybe they have both grown enough to make a better future. This story was so bittersweet.  They are both missing their buddy.  These characters have so much heat and heart.  I was truly excited to turn each page!  I give this anthology a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Kelsey met Micah when he stays for the week at the hotel she works at.  She is assigned to be his personal concierge.  She is also his fan, but witholds this information as she wants to make him comfortable and handle the situation like a professional. Micah is immediately attracted to Kelsey.  He looks for signs the feeling is mutual.  They start sparks flying all over the place.  Kelsey is trying maintain professionalism, since her job is on the line if she crosses the line.
