This is the 2nd book in The Guys Who Got Away series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and better understand the series, I recommend reading the series in order. Bryn is pleasantly surprised to meet someone with whom eye contact can give her tingles.  Can she take it to the net level?  Can this connection be sustained?  She will find out if its the last things she does. Logan's eye meet the woman who is wanting to buy the same item he is.  If he didn't need this for his daughter, he would happily let go and give in to the instincts that are kicking in.  Sparks that fly between two people like this are rare.  He should know. Logan has a full plate. He works hard to be the best at what he does for his team.  He is the guardian to his four younger sisters.  When he meets Paige at a team event he gets scared that he has found the one who can change his priorities. Paige has never stayed in one place for long.  When she has to get married, it is rather convenient that so does Logan .  The fact that they are attracted to each other and generate that much heat? Priceless. I loved reading this story.  I was sucked in from the very first, and literally laughed out loud in parts.  There was so much to this book.  Humor and so many sparks I cannot believe my e-reader did not catch fire!  With an interesting story, and some fun background characters this one was a sure win.  I give this read a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Foster goes off to the new year of college with a focus in mind - Hockey.  Then his brother adds a twist.  He asks him to keep an eye on his best friend who will be attending the same institution of learning.  The same best friend who is close to his brother, whom he has avoided since he felt the pull of attraction. Zach is not a people person.  He is however, a Foster person.  He has always wanted Foster. He gets single minded in his studies and can be a bit different.  Foster never makes him feel that way.  This couple had me rooting for them from the very first chapter.  I enjoyed this read.  I found the characters very real and fascinating.  There was humor and heat, and a real connection.  I could not put this book down.  I give this a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Aubrey runs a really successful bakery that is only threatened by the hottest specimen she has met in a long time.  She finds out later he wrote the worst review about her place.  Then has the nerve to claim he can still help her. Landon is honestly meaning well.  He does not want to put his reputation on the line by retracting the review that caused all the devastation.  Yet somehow in between this all is electricity that crackles and sparks that fly for the two of them anytime they are in the same room together. Surprisingly enough, this book has lots of humor, ideas for great recipes, and more than meets the eye.  I had a hard time getting the book finished as the couple were interesting and so was the plot - only I felt something was lacking there.  The heat and the chemistry were on point but something was just missing.  It is worth a read, as it has really deep characters who get more background story as you read.  I ...

Elliott needs a roommate in a hurry.  His old roommate is leaving and he needs someone to take her place quickly.  With Braden, he finds more in common than at first sight. Braden and Elliott have more than just friends alike.  They both love volleyball and sports.  When they become roomies, there is so much more between them than meets the eye. This story was a fun read.  This series always has such varied and interesting characters.  I found this couple very easy to relate to.  Their story was compelling and the humor on point. Killian has already lost so much.  After tragedy, you look for the little things that mean a lot.  He decides the music means the most.  Until he meets someone who gives him a reason to have hope. Mike too has lost so much.  He is excited to find someone who he actually has so much in common.  Is it worth it to get your hopes up?  Maybe there is a future with another lost soul who knows how it feels to lose. This story felt to me like the epitome of a slow burn.  Slower than I actually preferred, but the build was worth it as the backstory pays off as you read.  Such sad lives until they come together and you know it is meant to be.  Great book for a good cry, and two truly realistic characters that make you feel in such a genuine way for them.  I give this read a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This copy was given in exchange for an honest review.

Noah meets Spiro after he comes to stay with his Grandmother for the summer before he goes off to college. At first he is just in awe of the good looks, great body, and superior smile. Then as they become friends it has the potential to turn into more. Spiro has to watch himself. He is reminded at every turn by his uncle that he is there at the courtesy of this family who owns it all. Can he help it if they have such an amazing person such as Noah in their family? He is struggling to hide his interest in such an amazing young man. This story takes you through the beginning of first love, and off to the reunion as well. While not normally my style, I found my self intrigued by the story itself. These two lives being brought back together as one was almost magical. It is refreshing, honest, and felt very sincere.
