Kitty's Book Spot!

Logan has a full plate. He works hard to be the best at what he does for his team.  He is the guardian to his four younger sisters.  When he meets Paige at a team event he gets scared that he has found the one who can change his priorities. Paige has never stayed in one place for long.  When she has to get married, it is rather convenient that so does Logan .  The fact that they are attracted to each other and generate that much heat? Priceless. I loved reading this story.  I was sucked in from the very first, and literally laughed out loud in parts.  There was so much to this book.  Humor and so many sparks I cannot believe my e-reader did not catch fire!  With an interesting story, and some fun background characters this one was a sure win.  I give this read a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This is book #2, in the Rogue Academy series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader understanding, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this sexy series in order. Kingston is at the top of his game.  He has made it to the best of the best.  Now he wants to be with the best.  Attracted from the first moment they met, he has wanted Poppy.  Chasing after women is just not the same now. Poppy is sick of being lusted after by men who feel it is their right.  Overpaid, or born into money they all seem to be just overgrown boys who want to add her to their toy collection.  She has plans to be more than just a rich mans conquest. The chemistry with this couple is off the charts.  Every time they are even in the same room the temperature rises.  This  series  seems to just get hotter.  I love the banter.  I love the pace that is nice and strong.  The heat is nice and hot.  ...

This is book #2, in the Last Shot series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and understanding, I recommend reading in order. Marco & Carrie met when she brought her best friend to his bar for a tasting.  Now, their best friends are getting married.  They see one another all the time, but he has no idea why Carrie seems like she hates him. Carrie does not want to be attracted to the hotter Marco.  He just sets her on fire with a look.  The more she gets to know him better, the more she is attracted to him. The story confused me at first.  The characters are so hot together.  It makes for a great story.  The more funny things happen, the greater this story is.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ****This ARc copy was given in exchange for an honest review.

Paisley & Reese meet when she starts working for his fake girlfriend.  I know, I was confused also.  This book has a lot of strong points to it and Reese is supremely hot, making him the book boyfriend worthy of drool. The real issue for me?  Was the ultimate enemy, Bellini.  She is self absorbed, rich, and entitled.  (Flashbacks to High School Musical, anyone?)  Unfortunately for the reader, we also hear her opinion of herself and the world around her.  I was impressed with how the author approached this character, but not with the character herself. This is the 2nd book in the Knight Fashion series.  While this book can be read on its own, the reader will gain access to insider relationships, jobs, and more when they read these in order.  I always recommend reading series books in the order the author intended. Nathan and Olivia, (AKA Nate and Olie) find themselves pushed together in this latest installment of the series.  They are all over LA and NY with their best friends Isla and Josh also.  This book has all our favorites and a few surprises inside as well. Olie and Nate go the rounds a bit in this story.  With a little help from some cupids, they are thrown together more than normal and find themselves wistfully hoping for a different future together.  Will the threat over Olivia tear them apart?
