Isaac meets Logan at Christmas, as his sister's boyfriend.  Talk about your forbidden choices.  He will just have to put what he wants aside.  He does not believe he is worthy of a great relationship. Logan has no problem telling Isaac he wants him.  He is only doing a friend a favor.  Their attraction is obvious to anyone who looks at them together.   The characters had an obvious connection.  The sparks definitely fly around them being together.  Very realistic, with a slower pace than I expected.  I give this a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review only, by Netgalley and its publishers.

Todd is in a place where he feels like he is both in a rut, and ready for something new.  He needs to decide if he is going to keep his current affair a secret.  Will he be able to meet his new guy halfway to a new future? Victor is all in if Todd even gives him a hint.  They have been secretly hooking up for a while now.  Then something happens that puts how they feel to the test.  Secrets have a way of getting out...... This was such a fun read.  The characters had such heat!  I loved the banter and angst between them.  I hope to see them again in future stories.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review only.

This is book #5, in the Anchor Point series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and understanding of the series, I recommend reading in the order intended. Dalton & Chris have been best friends for some time.  Enjoying the same things, working the same job, even at the same location, makes it easy for their friendship to grow.  When tragedy strikes and makes them realize their feelings - can they make the most of it? Chris is not sure how to react when he almost loses Dalton.  He has become more than a friend now.  In order to go forward someone would have to transfer out, they would both have to get promoted, etc.   This story was a sweet surprise.  I enjoyed learning more about their jobs.  I also loved the characters loyalty to both the jobs, and to each other.  I found myself not wanting to put this book down, like many in this great series.  I give this story a 3/5 Ki...

This is book #8, in the Porthkennack series.  This title can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and understanding of the series, I always recommend reading the series books in order. Mack & Nathan have a hot history.  One that they agreed they would keep private.  Mack is already under the weather and needs to recuperate without added stress.  Only he wants to be more with Nathan and does not know how. Nathan is really needing to move on.  For right now, he helps a man who he wants to keep.  Only he promised to keep things simple.  Can he convince his new roomy that complicated is better? This was such a sweet story.  Unexpectedly light in some parts, I really felt the story deeply.  I sure hope we see these characters again.  Compelling for more than one reason, this book is a sure win! ***This ARC copy was given by Netgalley and its publisher, in exchange for an honest review.
