Mark AKA "Tank" is excited to be chosen to work with the team in New York.  He was more than pleased to meet such a sexy woman at dinner too.  Maybe they should get to know one another? Rook AKA "RJ" meets someone special when she literally falls into his lap.  Can he convince her to take a chance on him?  She has plans for her future, but he is blinded by wanting to be with her now. Lainey has been sheltered a bit.  She is a studious person who cannot believe someone as beautiful on the outside can be so sincere on the inside too.  Having a hot guy think she is hot stuff is new and she is out of sorts from it. This story touched me in many ways.  I loved the heat.  From the very beginning it was a consuming passion for this couple.  I love the characters and how very real their story felt.  Along the way, I loved that the story became richer, and deeper.  I give this read a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review only, by Netgalley and its publishers.

This is book #5, in the Shacking Up series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  To avoid spoilers, and to more understand the series, I recommend reading these in order. Wren has been working with someone awful.  When she is approached to help the awful guy's brother she hesitates.  Then she figures her future plans are worth it.  When she meets the man who she will be working with, she questions everything. Lincoln absolutely hates being attracted to Wren at first.  Then he realizes he cannot make it one day in this smothering city without her.  He is used to fresh air, and now she is the air that keeps him alive.  Can he keep her or will he lose her to the wind? These characters are so vibrant and so real.  I felt for them as I read each page.  This  series  just seems to get better.  The pace was good, the heat was HOT, and the book was just a great read.  I give this a 4/5 Kitty's P...

This is book #4, in the Shacking Up series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  To avoid spoilers and gain full understanding of this series, I recommend reading these in order. Cosy has a hard job.  She is Las Vegas, working at an adult toy store.  When Griffin comes in she assumes he is just another perv off the street.  Lots of those in Vegas. Griffin is bowled away by Cosy from the moment they meet.  He just has to figure a way to get her to go out with him.  How will he ever survive a future that could be so blank now that he has met the one? This is in my opinion, this author's best work to date.  The characters feel very real.  Flawed, good looking, and struggling to show excitement for their current situation.  Then they get together and magic! I was given the option to have a 'FREE PREVIEW' of this new book.  I loved it so much and could not put it down, so I ran to the library as soon as I finished my preview, so I could finish the story.  So worth it. Kailyn meets her star crush at college on the way to class.  She ends up competing with him in law school.  Then they meet later on and he does not recognize her. Daxton AKA "Dax" is shocked to meet such a fan at a college campus.  He has been trying to stay under the radar.  She is pretty and funny - so he lets it go.  Then tragedy strikes - and now he needs her help. Such an inspiring yet sexy story.  Rare to put those together in a sentence.  Both of these characters has development to show growth.  Both of them shared the attraction.  It was a fun read.  I give it a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***Thanks to Netgalley, and the publisher for the free preview.

Alex and Violet's eyes meet across the ice.  Then, they meet in person after the game.  It is hot and heavy attraction right from the start. Violet's step-brother is Alex's teammate.  Since her family expects her to support her sort-of brother, she attends most home games.  She and her step-brother are actually kind of close. Alex cannot stop thinking about Violet.  He wants to be around her all the time.  Soon, they want to be near each other all the time.  Can something burning this hot, keep the fire lit? Has a lot of fun and surprises in this story.  The book is a sometimes humorous and irreverent read.  I enjoyed every minute, and cannot wait to catch the other books in the  Pucked  series.  I give this story a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
