Kitty's Book Spot!

Gabriel and Ace meet when Gabe applies to work at the club.  He is very anxious and new, but the audience and the other strippers love him already.  Ace is starting to feel possessive and that is new. Ace does not want anyone else to look or touch Gabriel.  That has never happened before.  There is a lot going on in his life right now, and Gabe seems to help him make sense of it all.  Can they work together, or will it all come crashing down? Really very sweet story.  I love the characters and the way they are so supportive of one another.  The co-workers are more like a family.  Excited to see where the next book will take us!  I give this story a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ****This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest and sincere review.

This is book # 7 in the Fated Date Agency (also the Fated & Dominated) series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  The series makes more sense and there is further reader understanding when read in order. Haskel and Tuomo meet after it has been decided that an Omega must be sacrificed for the greater good.  In this case, Tuomo is the Omega that their leader has in mind.  He is single, no family, and the sacrifice needs to be made so that others can have food to survive. Tuomo is willing to do his part, he loves his pack.  Haskel has just found him and thinks there are other ways to solve this food problem.  Can he convince the leader that meeting his mate is more important? This was a quick and sweet look at what would happen if you met your mate, just to lose him.  I found this an easy read.  I have given it 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC was given in exchange for an honest review.

Eli and Magnus meet when Magnus and his pack bring a stranger to the clinic where Eli works for help.  Eli is not impressed with him, nor his pack of poorly behaved animals.  Magnus wants to change his mind. Magnus is Eli's fated mate, so it seems.  Neither one would have chosen the other.  Now fate has stepped in and refuses to budge.  Can Eli and Magnus learn to care for one another?  Can you really get a second chance to make a first impression? This book is very powerful in the way that it shows us there is always a better way to make an impression on another person.  I found the characters interesting, compelling and actually endearing.  What a great perspective on behaviors.  I give this story a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC was given in exchange for an honest review.

This is book # 9, in the Fated Date Agency series .   This can be read as a standalone novel, but it is more meaningful and the readers gets complete understanding when read in the order intended. Korey went all around the world to find his Zack.  He would never have stopped, if he had not found him.  While on his travels, he discovers something that may be life changing for Praya.  Should he tell her? Zack has a lifestyle so different from Korey.  Though they are fated mates, can they really have two worlds collide?  Korey and Zack must compromise to make it happen.  Can an Alpha do compromise? This is book 8 in the Fated Date Agency series .   This book can be read as a standalone.  I recommend reading them in order to understand the basic story inside the series, but it is not necessary.  It is also a fun series to read. Stefan and Langford have a history that only one of them remembers well.  When Stefan hears from the agency about his mate, he decides to contact him right away.  There are circumstances that may keep them apart.  He decides to go on with his life and find a new job. Langford wonders how he can have a mate, when he never contacted the agency.  He has enough on his plate as far as relationships go.  He does not want to mislead Stefan.  If only he could stay away from him and resist. I recommend reading the stories in the order the author intended for enjoyment and understanding.  This book can be read as a standalone, but I found it best in order. Samuel found out when he reached out for his mate, that he had just missed him.  He had passed away before getting a chance to meet him.  Samuel found this a disturbing and upsetting moment.  He never even knew he could miss someone he never met. Caden has had to change his looks, his life, and leave his joy of teaching behind.  He feels bad that his mother will mourn him.  He knew if he did not get away he would be a wanted man until he was killed.  Samuel and Caden meet after Caden moves to a new town far away from his home.  He is drawn to Samuel and does not fully understand why.  Samuel finds Caden looks familiar, but cannot place him. Ford and Jarvis work together, but first meet out with mutual friends and co-workers.  Ford has just moved to town, and is there on an internship with their company.  Jarvis is attracted right away, even though Ford thinks he is taken. Ford has had a lot happen to him in a very short time.  College, his best friend treating him like trash for coming out, losing said best friend and other friends too, moving to a new town, a new job, etc.  We can safely say he has trust issues.   Jarvis is a happy person, who along with many friends, enjoys his life as he has found a way to be healthy and happy.  He treats his body like a temple, does yoga, and more.  He wants a chance with Ford, but Ford thinks he is a player.
