Not Negotiable: A Trident Security Series Novella - Book 3.5 - Samantha ColeThis is book 3.5 in the Trident Security series.    For best understanding and enjoyment of the story itself, it helps to go in the order intended.  As always, I advise readers to read the books in a series in order.  In this case, this book is an easy standalone, I just think this series is good and can be read either way.

Parker and Shelby know one another from the exclusive club they both belong to.  When Parker brings his brother along to try to find out if he wants to be a part of the BDSM community, he causes trouble at the club and harms Shelby.  Parker is understandably furious and wants to take care of her.

Shelby and Parker both have pasts that they prefer to keep secret.  To their dismay, both of them have things that are brought to light.  Parker has made no secret that he wants to try with Shelby, and she has kept pushing him away.

Can they learn that trust is a two way street?  Is love enough?  This is a sweet and strong story.  I found the characters extremely compelling.  There are others from the series that are in the book also.  A quick, and enjoyable read.  I give this book a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This is the 2nd book in the Clearing The Ice series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  Since it is a series that continues, it is advised to read this series in order. Andrew and Caryn's story continues in this new installment.  Everything hits the fan when Andrew is hurt and it throws their life into chaos.  They find out who their real friends and family are that come to help. Caryn knows she does not want to live without Andrew.  He is just such a big part of her life.  When tragedy strikes, she learns who to trust and who to ignore. This book was full of emotions for me.  I felt the roller coaster ride that she was on.  I sure hope to read the next installment as this series is just amazing.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review.
