Not my bag
Paisley & Reese meet when she starts working for his fake girlfriend. I know, I was confused also. This book has a lot of strong points to it and Reese is supremely hot, making him the book boyfriend worthy of drool.
The real issue for me? Was the ultimate enemy, Bellini. She is self absorbed, rich, and entitled. (Flashbacks to High School Musical, anyone?) Unfortunately for the reader, we also hear her opinion of herself and the world around her. I was impressed with how the author approached this character, but not with the character herself.
I am not one to give low scores on my blog - I usually just skip them. I just wanted the readers to know if you are into new adult books with many points of view, this is the book and series you have been waiting for. This story would make a great movie, but as a book it left me wanting. I give this story a 2/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
