This story is a prequel for the acclaimed Entwined Souls.  I recommend reading them in order, if possible.  Prepare for a burning hot read!



Michelle AKA Belle meets Jax after school from a new friend.  The instant connection is off the charts.  The air literally sizzles when they are in the same room.

Jax wants to stay away.  She is young, a friend to his sister.  The urge to be with her is clawing under his skin.  He wants to protect her.  The kisses are molten.  She is his.

This was such a fast paced read!  So much going on, and bless this author, with the flashbacks - it is easier to understand.  I loved the chemistry, even though it was quick.  Sometimes love just is.  I give this book a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This is book #6, in the True North series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader understanding of the series, and too avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this compelling series in order. Skye returns to the place she hates the most to help out the sister she always wanted.  When she gets there, tables have turned.  There is now danger if she pushes too far in finding her sister.  Who can she turn to? Benito AKA "Ben" is a blast from the past, who has always had a thing for Skye.  She was the one that got away, and he has no intentions of letting that happen again.  He also has to find her sister and solve his case. While this author is a definite auto purchase, she always brings the goods to the table.  In this story, we get a second chance romance with such heart and heat that every page is a sizzling delight!  I loved the banter, and was eagerly turning each page to get to the next.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***Th
