The return




Damien comes home to the ranch, after military service.  He has to adjust to being home, and all that it entails.  There are just so many changes....

Lexi thought he would never come back.  He seemed to like staying away.  What was once a promise now actually may be a possibility.  Only danger lurks....

This story caught me off guard!  There is action, humor, heat, and more.  I found that there were some character I really liked, and some I just wanted to off myself!  The main characters are easy to root for, only theirs is a more complicated story.  Fun and quick read.  I give this book a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

    I, too, have read and enjoyed this book. If you like romance or Southern fiction, this is a must read.

This is book #6, in the True North series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader understanding of the series, and too avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this compelling series in order. Skye returns to the place she hates the most to help out the sister she always wanted.  When she gets there, tables have turned.  There is now danger if she pushes too far in finding her sister.  Who can she turn to? Benito AKA "Ben" is a blast from the past, who has always had a thing for Skye.  She was the one that got away, and he has no intentions of letting that happen again.  He also has to find her sister and solve his case. While this author is a definite auto purchase, she always brings the goods to the table.  In this story, we get a second chance romance with such heart and heat that every page is a sizzling delight!  I loved the banter, and was eagerly turning each page to get to the next.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***Th
