Hypothesis
This is book #2, in the Dirty Martini Running Club series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader understanding, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this sexy series in order.
Hazel finds out not long after taking a new position at a new location, that her nemesis is speaking there as well. Now she is second guessing her choice to change employers. Then she gets to know the man she thinks of as her enemy. Or does she?
Corban has an equal hate for Hazel. Now he has a face and body to put to the name. If only he wasn't outrageously attracted to the enemy. He wants to kiss her right? Or does he want to make her mad? He cannot decide. Is is possible to want both?
I am going to be completely honest here. I usually hate the trope of enemies to lovers. I really have not been a fan. This particular story was much anticipated, so I am not sure if that played a part. All I know is I could not put this book down, and lost sleep to enjoy it. I devoured the pages eagerly and literally ate up every word. Already a fan, I am now bumping this author up to a definite 1-click for me. I give this read a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
