Dirty Deeds (The Dirty Series) - HelenKay DimonGaige is hired by threat to get into an office that does not welcome them.  He meets Alec there, however, and this changes everything.  The attraction is explosive and instant.

Alec is disgusted that he is attracted to someone who he cannot trust.  As he gets to know him better, they realize they are really on the same side.  Now if they can build trust and start to show it, then maybe a future can happen.  If they save the world in between, just a bonus, right?

I have to tell you, I am never disappointed with this author's work.  The characters have excellent banter, the pace moves along quickly, and the heat is just sizzling!  The mystery to solve is like the icing on the cake.  I cannot wait to read the next book in this new The Dirty series.  I give this story a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This is book #6, in the True North series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader understanding of the series, and too avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this compelling series in order. Skye returns to the place she hates the most to help out the sister she always wanted.  When she gets there, tables have turned.  There is now danger if she pushes too far in finding her sister.  Who can she turn to? Benito AKA "Ben" is a blast from the past, who has always had a thing for Skye.  She was the one that got away, and he has no intentions of letting that happen again.  He also has to find her sister and solve his case. While this author is a definite auto purchase, she always brings the goods to the table.  In this story, we get a second chance romance with such heart and heat that every page is a sizzling delight!  I loved the banter, and was eagerly turning each page to get to the next.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***Th
