The heat is on

This book is # 8 in The Men of The Zodiac series.  While each book in this series can be read as a standalone novel, it is a lot of fun reading them in order.

The Colonel's Daughter - Amy AndrewsIvy met Dean working at the bar where she is spending her time escaping from her father.  In a couple weeks time, she will go home and work at the place he has selected for her.  The bar they are at is in a bad neighborhood, and owned by shady men.  Dean AKA Seth is there to protect Ivy without her knowledge.

Seth is struggling with watching over Ivy.  He does not want to have feelings for her.  He owes her father a debt and needs to complete this assignment without flaws.  Only problem?  He is so attracted to her, she is all he sees!

Reading this book felt like watching an old movie.  I loved the interaction.  I enjoyed every tease. This book has some amazing and epic moments!  I give this story a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This is the 2nd book in the Clearing The Ice series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  Since it is a series that continues, it is advised to read this series in order. Andrew and Caryn's story continues in this new installment.  Everything hits the fan when Andrew is hurt and it throws their life into chaos.  They find out who their real friends and family are that come to help. Caryn knows she does not want to live without Andrew.  He is just such a big part of her life.  When tragedy strikes, she learns who to trust and who to ignore. This book was full of emotions for me.  I felt the roller coaster ride that she was on.  I sure hope to read the next installment as this series is just amazing.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review.
