Against the Grain - Charlie CochetThis is the 5th book in the THIRDS acclaimed series.  I recommend reading the books in order for full understanding of the story and enjoyment for the reader.  This book can be read as a standalone, but I caution the inside jokes and mystery taking place makes more sense reading as the author intended.

The long awaited story for Ash and Cael comes with several surprises.  The THIRDS team has been through a lot lately, and they are struggling at this point.  Cael wants to hope that his friendship with Ash can sustain the hits they keep taking, but he is not so sure.

Ash is still in denial until a tragedy wakes him up to the real possibility he could lose Cael before he ever really has him.  All our favorite agents are present and accounted for, making this a fun and exciting read.

Each installment in this series has me thinking the author cannot shock me anymore.  Well, I have been told.  She makes it happen in the best way possible and I enjoyed every single page.  I cannot wait for the next book in the THIRDS series!  I give this story a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This is the 2nd book in the Clearing The Ice series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  Since it is a series that continues, it is advised to read this series in order. Andrew and Caryn's story continues in this new installment.  Everything hits the fan when Andrew is hurt and it throws their life into chaos.  They find out who their real friends and family are that come to help. Caryn knows she does not want to live without Andrew.  He is just such a big part of her life.  When tragedy strikes, she learns who to trust and who to ignore. This book was full of emotions for me.  I felt the roller coaster ride that she was on.  I sure hope to read the next installment as this series is just amazing.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review.
