Level Hands - Amy Jo CousinsThis is the 4th book in the Bend Or Break series.  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and understanding, I recommend reading this series in order.

Rafael and Denny meet through Denny's family.  When he gets a chance to go back to school, he feels worlds apart from the other students.  The only person he knows there is Denny.  Who taught him a sport that gave him back him life.

Denny has felt haunted by his past with Rafael.  They have unfinished business, and the only way to solve a problem is to confront it.  Or will that just push Rafael away?

This series has so many surprises for the reader!  A story this good with characters that have rich stories are always a joy to read.  These two were inevitable, and watching them get together and break down walls between them made it a great book.  I give this story a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This is book #6, in the True North series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader understanding of the series, and too avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this compelling series in order. Skye returns to the place she hates the most to help out the sister she always wanted.  When she gets there, tables have turned.  There is now danger if she pushes too far in finding her sister.  Who can she turn to? Benito AKA "Ben" is a blast from the past, who has always had a thing for Skye.  She was the one that got away, and he has no intentions of letting that happen again.  He also has to find her sister and solve his case. While this author is a definite auto purchase, she always brings the goods to the table.  In this story, we get a second chance romance with such heart and heat that every page is a sizzling delight!  I loved the banter, and was eagerly turning each page to get to the next.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***Th
