Beware of Geeks Bearing Gifts - Charlie CochetJulian Quintero aka "Quinn" lives next door to Spencer Morgan.  For at least a year now, Spencer has hoped to have the courage to talk to him.  He knows he is invisible to Quinn, so he is afraid to step across the line into the light of his attention.

Quinn, as a member of the SWAT team, is a rather intimidating fellow.  The only reason Spencer even knows he is gay, is that he saw him kiss another man goodbye at the door once.  Following an incident at work, Quinn is at home, laid up, and recuperating.  Spencer wants to help but is not sure how.

Spencer and Quinn's neighbor, also Spencer's best friend encourages him to go offer food or help to the recuperating officer.  While trying to do just that, Quinn's best friend stops by and gets his phone number to give to Quinn.

This is a short and sweetly done story about what can happen when opposites attract.  I am not sure what I was expecting, but this an author who never disappoints.  The banter and sexy times were there, and the charm was swoon worthy!  I give this story a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This is book #6, in the True North series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader understanding of the series, and too avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this compelling series in order. Skye returns to the place she hates the most to help out the sister she always wanted.  When she gets there, tables have turned.  There is now danger if she pushes too far in finding her sister.  Who can she turn to? Benito AKA "Ben" is a blast from the past, who has always had a thing for Skye.  She was the one that got away, and he has no intentions of letting that happen again.  He also has to find her sister and solve his case. While this author is a definite auto purchase, she always brings the goods to the table.  In this story, we get a second chance romance with such heart and heat that every page is a sizzling delight!  I loved the banter, and was eagerly turning each page to get to the next.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***Th
