Reklindle the heat

This is book # 4 in The Boys Of Summer series.  While this book is just fine as a standalone novel, it would be easier to understand and enjoy if you read the series in order as intended.  All the books in this series feature hot men and steamy love stories.

The Heat Is On (Bad Boys of Baseball) - Katie RoseConnor is about to retire, as he is traded back home to the Sonics.  He wants to put his life in order, and has an idea what he wants for his life after baseball.  The biggest part of that is Tracy.  His college girl, she was the one that got away.

Tracy has been through the ringer with her ex-husband.  She now is a single mom to four kids and is not sure where to fit Connor into her life.  Could he accept her as she is?  Is the past heat something that can be rekindled?

This was an amazing story about what is important in life.  There are so many parts to this book that I would love to point out, but do not want to spoil for the reader.  I will say, there are surprises in store!  Great book for the series and an excellent read.  I give this story a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This is the 2nd book in the Clearing The Ice series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  Since it is a series that continues, it is advised to read this series in order. Andrew and Caryn's story continues in this new installment.  Everything hits the fan when Andrew is hurt and it throws their life into chaos.  They find out who their real friends and family are that come to help. Caryn knows she does not want to live without Andrew.  He is just such a big part of her life.  When tragedy strikes, she learns who to trust and who to ignore. This book was full of emotions for me.  I felt the roller coaster ride that she was on.  I sure hope to read the next installment as this series is just amazing.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review.
