Make you mine

Jesse meets Nick when he is moved to his dorm room for his own safety.  His former friend and roommate beat him up and he was found by a dorm supervisor who runs Nick's floor, and offered him a room.  They draw a line on the floor to give each of them a side and it helps Jesse feel safe.

Nick has too much going on his senior year to be bothered with a new roommate.  One who is so open and honest.  He feels very protective of him right away, and tries to help him feel safe in their room.

Jesse is trying to re-learn how to live on campus.  Hopefully avoiding the past and moving on.  Nick gives him that comfort, and shows him he can go out and be safe also.  They are fast becoming friends.  With maybe something more.

Such a sweet and tender story.  While at the same time it makes me feel satisfied and grateful too.  This book is a definite keeper for the shelf.  I give it a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
