This is book #2, in the Brazen Duet series.   This book is in continuation of the first in the series, Brazen, and should be read in order.  My recommendation is to read the Brazen Duet together. Oskar & Hailey's story continues with trying to figure out who is out to get her.  Several attempts have been made on her life.  Oskar just wants to protect her from harm and keep her close. Hailey is shocked with the news they got about their time in Las Vegas.  She is struggling to tell not fall for Oskar a second time.  If he leaves her, she wants to be strong. This story is very rich and suspenseful.  I love the characters depth's and devotion to one another.  This series is incredible and hits all the highlights.  There was heat, heart, and helpless.  I was especially grateful for the compelling storyline and the character development.  I give this a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***This early copy was given in exchange for an honest review only.

This is book #2, in the Smart Jocks series .  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this great series in order. Katrina is completely thankful that such a hot jock asks her out each week.  Is it crazy that she enjoys it?  It makes her feel pretty and helps her make it through.  When he really wants to take her out, what will she say? Joel has wanted to take Katrina out since the very first time he asked her out.  The past and how they are both hurt definitely makes a difference on how they approach dating.  He never gives up and hopefully one day soon...... This is book #3, in the Platonically Complicated series.   This book can be read as a standalone novel.  To avoid spoilers, and to fully understand the series, I recommend reading these in order.   Lucas finds himself attracted to his best friend's sister.  He tries to hold out, since she is also his friend, but the thoughts just get more frequent and more dangerous.  When a mutual friend to them both suggests they get together, even fake, he has no idea what he is in for. Kate is wishing she could go back in time.  To a place when she had no feelings for her brother's best friend.  Lucas intrigues her.  He also heats her up when he touches her anywhere. Such a  great series  and this is a great addition!  The characters banter literally makes me laugh out loud.  I loved the friends and families and how close they are.  I also loved what a great father the leading man in this story is.  Such a joy to read!  I give this book  5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This  series  is so good.  I love the couples and friendships.  This is my favorite trope - no secret there - but I especially love when its done right.  I loved the characters and how rich and deep they were.  Considering all the touchy subjects touched on in the book this was a terrific way to read abo
