Falling hard never felt so good.
Pair skaters Courtney and Mark have one shot left at their Olympic dream. They vow not to let anything get in their way, especially not Josh and Stephanie, the wealthy and talented brother and sister team.
The heart doesn’t always listen to reason, though…
The more time Courtney spends with sweet, shy Josh, the harder she falls for him. But they are on opposite sides of the competition, and their futures are headed in opposite directions. Will their friendship blossom into more or are their paths too different to cross?

Courtney and Mark have their last chance to get to the Olympics. That is until their coaches invite their competition to train with them. Stephanie and Josh are brother and sister pairs skaters who are fierce competitors.
Courtney and Josh try hard to get along. Their partners are not willing, looking at the others as competition and the enemy. Courtney has always secretly been attracted to Josh and cannot help herself.
Josh starts to be her friend. Then they work together at the restaurant where she tends bar. Hard to fight the attraction, and now spending so much time together, makes it that much harder.
Mark is not happy when he finds out what has been going on. Is the dream still alive? Mark does not seem to understand where she is coming from. What can she do to prove she wants to win?
This is such a sweet story. What amazed me was the authors knowledge and use of the figure skating industry and practices. I found this to be entertaining, as well as full of interesting insights. I love the banter and these characters literally swept me up until I was thinking OTP! Great start to the Ice series!
