Princess in waiting

Emmaline literally has a run in with a prince.  Prince Kristos runs into her, and later saves her life.  Cue whirlwind few days where the media gets wind and BAM!  Instant mess.

Both of them have things from the past that have caused pain in the present.  Em has to care for her parents, instead of pursuing a dream of music.  Her career and school literally have been put on hold.  Kristos has to take the crown, since his brother had an ill fated plane trip and could not do the duties.

Kristos only wants what is best.  He wants to be back in the military, serving his people, his country.  He knows that is where he belongs.  With his brother gone, however, his choices are limited.  His family needs him.  His country needs him - in a different way.

Em has her best friends giving her the trip of a lifetime.  She knows she must enjoy it to its fullest - since it will soon be over and back to real life she must go.  Her parents cannot seem to make it without help.  They are healing, but slowly.

In order to move forward, they each must make choices that will effect their future and could change their fate.  Should the be together?  Should they say goodbye?  It is such a moving story and the author has a hit!  She never misses but with the new Gowns & Crowns series, we will see a different side.  I give this book a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
