Short but sweet
This is book # 3 in the Chase Brothers series. This book can be read as standalone novel. It has mention of earlier characters from other books in the series, so I caution readers to please read the books in order intended.
Ethan meets Rue outside at her classic car. She needs his help and he unwittingly becomes her rescuer. When they compare notes, they find they have quote a bit in common. They also agree they need to have a date for an upcoming event, where they can help one another.
Rue is overwhelmingly attracted to Ethan right from the start. She feels for him, and while this is temporary, she cannot help but fall for a man who is nearly a martyr in his situation. Ethan is changing slowly, and his family starts to notice as well.
The humor and banter shared is a happy point for this series and this book for certain. I enjoyed having the characters from previous books in here as well. So good and very hard to put down! I give this story a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
