The fire blazes
This is book # 3 in The Mockingbird Place series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. It would be in the readers best interest, however, to read this series in order. This would add better understanding and enjoyment as the inside jokes in the book will make more sense.
Jackson and Eli live next door to one another. They are both attracted from afar. Jackson is concerned that Eli has other interests that make him a poor choice for a boyfriend. He also has low self esteem that gets in the way.
Eli is busy with his job and obligations to others he has promised. He also cannot stop wishing in his heart for a chance with Jackson. Can they make it work?
Eli and Jackson have really hot chemistry that leaps off the page! The character development is a little slow. I felt like it was a little hard to keep up at times, but this story does enhance the series and is a good read. I give this book a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
